A friend is on OML and a 90 day consultation period has just started. She currrently plans to return to work at the end of her OML, halfway through the 90 day period.
There will still be suitable roles left once the redundancies are completed.
If she asks me, I am thinking of advising her to take AML and stay at home. I presume that she loses her protection immediately, if she returns to work during the consultation period, but is pretty safe if she takes AML?
