I went to one of these parties a few nights ago and ended up buying a load of stuff despite saying that I wouldn't.. The woman said how well it fitted in with her DCs etc so I wondered if it would be any good for me. Have any of you done it?

I did it for 2 years and loved it, just recently given it up as I have 2 under 3 now and I'm far too tired to go out at night! You can earn quite a bit, but as with anything, you only get out what you put in.

BTW I love the products too!

Thats what I thought. I have a 3 year old and 7 month old and am very tired most of the time. I was thinking of when DD starts school and DS is about 3. How many parties a week did you have to do to make a clear profit of £500 or more per month? (Hope you don't mind me asking)because thats pretty much what I would earn by going back PT in current job.

What is Pampered Chef???

You get invited to a party and someone from the company comes and demonstrates then sells the cooking products. It sounds a bit naff and I was adamant I wasn't going to buy anything (far too housewifey for a cool gal like me ) but some of the products are really good.

Commission is 20%, and each party has an average of £300 so 2 nights a week??? Once you've sold £11,000 worth (sounds alot, but it doesn't atke long) you get 22% commission.
