Childcare element of tax credits - anyone know who is entitled?

I currently work at home, but looking for a WOH job, which would mean I paid out childcare.

Me and DP would both be working full time, but both on a relatively low wage. Does anyone know the earning brackets for childcare element? Or where I can find them?

TIA, be back later

I think it is based on the number of hours, one needs to be working full time, the other at least 16 hours a week.

Google tax credits and it will give you the Government website.

I think you can earn up to about £40,000 but obviously won't get much at that level.

The gov site has a calculator so you can get an idea of how much you would get.

Well we will both be working full time, for definate, but I can only put guesses into calculator I suppose as I am just musing on the idea at the moment - no idea what actual wage will be yet if I WOH.
