P35 Rebate

Ok, I'll try and explain this as best I can.

Although I havent actually worked for 18 months, I have my own limited company (telecoms contractor). The management company I use sent me an email back in July explaining that they had filed my annual P35 and that the invoice for this was £60? and that once they had receieved payment for this they would send me a cheque for £100 rebate.

I have emailed them every couple of weeks since this time, to be told that they havent received the money from HMRC yet, and the department that deals with it is subject to industrial action and that they have had some monies back, and that mine will be soon blah blah blah.

I could really do with the money but it seems that they are just ignoring my emails now - probably due to the fact that as I havent been working they havent been earning.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

what is the £100 rebate for? the online filing fee?

HMRC are very very very slow so i'm not suprised they havent' had the money from thm yet tbh.

You could ring HMRC directly if you know your PAYE number. They'll be able to tell you if the repayment has been issued yet

I am surpised you would get the £100 rebate if you had no earnings from the company in the year.
