How do I phrase this? (job application again)

I have to say "why you are interested in the (internal) role and what I would bring to it.". The latter is pretty easy...it is the why I want it which I am struggling with. My genuine reasons are:

Cos I have been doing a similar role lately and enjoyed it
Cos teh interesting part of my job has been outsourced and what is left is dull. (but because it is an internal role I have to be careful how I SAY THIS)
Because my collegues bullied me into applying

So how do I say that such that it makes me sound as though I really want the role without sounding desperate...

You feel that you are ready for more responsibilty which this role would offer you - and then say how you can do it.

It is not really more responsibility. It is just a different type of work.

The other (and crucial) reason is that there is a perception of vulnerability (wrt job security) in my current role

You feel commited to and that you are looking forward to the new challenges that this role will bring. You know that the role will motivate you further, building on your current capabilities whilst allowing you to continue your personal development..

then go on to say what you would bring to the role..

I have already written the bit about what I will bring to teh role. It is just the why.

I assume that it would be a big faux pas to say that I am not being stimuated in my current role - given that I will
a) be staying in teh company
b) be adding new role to current role
c) may not get the position and then have to put up with current role.

Is it OK that I have been looking for something more stimulating/rewarding....or does the same apply?

I think 'new challenges' covers that

well if you are adding new role to current you could add..

you look forward to giving more to the company and are excited about the new challenges it will bring (you could give an example if you have a good one to show you understand what you would be taking on)

don't say anything negative about your current role or the employer (just in case you don't get it)
