Asking on behalf of a friend-

She has two part time jobs, one for a big company from which she is receiving SMP until April. The other is for a small company, 4 1/2 hours per week during term time. She is not receiving any SMP from the second job. She plans to return to work at the second job next week, will she be able to continue to be paid SMP from the first?

TIA

Here is the technical guidance. If the second employer was employing her in the 15th week before her due date, she doesn't have to declare it to the first employer and can keep claiming her SMP.

If she wasn't employed by the second employer during the 15th week before her due date, she has to notify the first employer and they will stop her SMP.

Thank you- she was employed by second employer in the 15th week so great news!

Thanks
