payments. they agreed to pay me for them, then i've heard nothing. i keep asking and they say they're dealing with it but nothing happens.

also had an email that all overtime has to be cleared first with big boss man before it can be approved.

the nature of my job is that some weeks i work way over my allocated hours and have to claim the overtime.

any suggestions?

You can consider putting in a claim to the Employment Tribunal for unpaid wages but there is a time limit of 3 months to do that. Is it more than 3 months since the date they said it would be paid?

I'm not suggesting you necessarily rush to take legal action but it's worth being aware of that.

Have you had anything in writing at all? I would advise next step to be formally writing to them requesting the money be paid immediately, and confirming the hours worked, money owed, date it was promised to be paid to you by and who made that promise and when. If you think you might want to take legal action to recover the money, you should mention that in the letter, giving them a reasonable timescale by when you need to receive the money before you will be putting in a claim.
