Where can I get help writing my new CV?

I've tried the Guardian CV clinic and it's somewhat limited, lacking in actual examples and with the sort of silly career quizzes you might find in teen magazines.

So ... is there any better help out there? I haven't written a cv for over 20 years.

Contact your local job centre and they will put you in touch with someone. Or your local 'back to work' or whatever they are called in your area. Good luck
