Does anyone know anything about Mystery Shoppers

Hi,

I'm thinking about signing up to a mystery shopper organisation but don't know where to start. Does anyone have any advice about who to choose...They seem to ask so many personal questions - is that normal.....?

Any help or suggestions welcome

Thanks

I've done mystery shopping in the past - was ok, but quite often I ended up buying things I didn't really need! I do vaguely remember being asked quite a few personal questions though.

I just found out a great way to make some extra money though, if you're interested, have a look at www.telecomplus.org.uk/energize under 'The Opportunity'. Have been doing it for a month or so and it's great!

Schlumpf - Have just been persuaded to join up for this by SIL, is it really as good as it sounds? Am 90 % convinced but have to decide before I sign up on Sunday

I have a friend who does this - don't know who for though I'm afraid. She really enjoys it - gets given set missions to test staff skills, often in shops like Boots or Debenhams - but not much money in it.

I have done it in the past for a specific shop. Then it all seems to have stopped; th person running it got ill I think, and not heard anything since. Shame really as it was easy done and I got paid in vouchers for the shop, and was quite well compensated for my time too.

Thank you for your input - not sure really what to do - think I might give it a miss !!

Retail Eye (Eyes) is a large MS organisation.

I have done it before but for a particualr family attraction, it was great fun.

Got reimbursed for tickets, £20 towards lunch, £5 towards snacks/ice creams, and £20 to spend it gift shop on way out. Report was simple.
