Explaining a Year out

I left my job in London and moved to the country where i took on a part time job - now, 8 months on, we are moving back to the south and I am applying for a job. My question is - how do I explain this year out? I am a teacher btw.

Just tell the truth. Employers don't like gaps in CVs and will probably assume that there's some sort of awful explanation!

Tell them the truth. Employers dont like unexplained gaps...you moved house, simple as that.
