I have a psychology degree and some work experience in this area but fancy a change of direction. Anyone got any ideas of what I can do? Needs to pay 25k min......would I still be eligible for grad taining schemes??

Also, would be interested to hear from anyone who does work F/T with a stay at home partner. I run a small business from home and my DH intends on doing that and looking after the children.

i'd rather not say which one - but you can look up housing associations where you live - perhaps using the housing corporation website or your local council website or simply google 'housing associations in xxx'

once you have the name of the association you can google graduate programmes

the salary is circa 22k so a little less than what you are hoping for - however after two years this will increase -if you are with a larger HA and are good at your job - promotion is fairly quick.

look at it this way - the more dire the economy the more people lose their homes and the more there is a need for social housing.

whilst the rest of the country is on its knees, this sector will always thrive. job security at its best.

i was actually considering voting tory ( it flickered across my mind v. briefly) as the country was doing rather well. i thought perhaps i should ge the tories to give their mates tax breaks and piss on the poor to ensure job security - which i have any way - but just to make sure you understand - however labour have fucked it up nicely
