I have an interview for some university hospitals as a communications manager. I'm fine on the comms stuff but what are the key NHS/health topics that are likely to crop up and any issues that i should gen up on?

Have a look on the DOH website and read up on the Lord Darzi report. Key issues at the moment at hospital I work for are Infection control and 18 weeks.

have you had a look at the press releases on the trust's website?

It university hospitals in Leicester. The PR doesn't really give a lot away about the key issues as they are quite random. will look at darzi report.

Confidentiality. Caldicott guardian. Data protection. Electronic transfer of patient information. NHS email systems. Use of internet.
