This is a tricky work-related relationship issue, really, but there wasn't a category for that so I've put it here! we have a new boss, who's driving me mad..she's v unpopular, laying down rules nobody likes, and all of the staff are actively looking for other jobs, including me. the particular problem i have is that she has kids same age as mine and has recently moved to a house 2 doors from mine, so her kids and mine are becoming friendly. i feel like theres no escape, work stress is running over into our home life and its really getting to me. i want to tell them i want nothing to do with them outside of work but that would be very unfriendly and we have nothing against the kids, they're nice kids. any advice on how to handle this situation?
