Hi.. I have recently trained as a doula but am finding it difficult to find clients in Coventry /Warwickshire. I need to attend 2 births to complete my portfolio. If anyone knows someone who is expecting their baby Sept/ October/ November 2008 and would like to have a doula for FREE please contact me! thank you!

i too need my last 2 births.

I think that wit the credit crunch, people are maybe being a little more careful with their money / resourses.

I too have tried the whole "free service" and have 2 fantastic refs from my first 2 births.

Hopefully we'll both get them soon

Hi phraedd.. where are you based? I agree that the credit crunch will probably hit Doula's ... but if women realise what a huge positive difference the support of a doula can make to their birth experience then doula's would be be employed by the NHS... we need to spread the word...or should be on prescription and available to all!
