i am now a working mum!

started work part time this week as an lsa. my youngest started nursery (i have 4dc)so i am working mornings while she is there.

the house is untidy, there is washing everywhere, i have to get up earlier, but am loving every minute of it. have been a stay at home mum for the last 15 years and now i am doing something for me. i have a career, i have colleagues!!!

am feeling very pleased and smug with myself!!

added bonus - am working in the dc's school so can keep an eye on them too. was in assembly this morning when ds (7) was presented with a head teachers award! was so proud !!

Woo-hoo!! Enjoy!!

Went back to work today ... utterly exhausted! So exhausted I just let dd lie on the sofa until she fell asleep then carried her into her bed.

Please tell me it gets easier.

this week has been tough and tiring - but tbh the job is exactly what i needed. had been getting so bored at home. was very lucky as the school approached me to do the job. i had let it be known that i am doing a teaching assistant home study course and wanted to do voluntry work in school!! am very lucky as i know several people who would kill for a job in the school, and others who have had to apply for jobs and be interviewed and still not get a ta job in schools.
