Can everyone please tell me I'm being silly.
I'm only working 4 hours, 6pm - 10pm, FGS.

Did anyone dread it?
Was it ok once you were back?

It will be fine. Thinking about it worse thandoing it. Look on it as a break!

hi - i went back on Monday.

Really, it's fine - soon back in the swing and switched back to being "working me" rather than "mummy me", which I think is healthy really!

BUT here I am at home again cos dd2 woke up covered in puke! Not allowed back in the nursery for 48 hours, so Monday really. She seems fine now - napping. But I feel my new rhythm has been broken!

It will be absolutely fine. And four hours is nothing really. be over before you know it.

You'll love it, trust me.
