I'm a clown. Parties and events not circus.

SNoraWotzThat · 05/08/2008 14:42

thank you I searched for this list the other day

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 14:43

what is the list for?

are we setting up a website?

can I submit a picture of myself in soft focus wearing nothing but a tatty feather boa?

escape · 05/08/2008 14:51

cooo... she did didn't she
looks like she had to get a day job though - 'Metal' - thats the one.
I take your feather boa and raise you a publicity shot taken no less than 25 years ago, and a 'panto' style 'biog'

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 14:53

I have a picture of me dressed as a St Trinian with a bad perm shifting beer crates

do I win?

SNoraWotzThat · 05/08/2008 14:57

But what services will you offer Cappuccino?

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 15:00

arts marketing, of course

SNoraWotzThat · 05/08/2008 15:01

Arts marketing? Selling art, or ebaying car boot watercolours? What's that then?

Oliveoil · 05/08/2008 15:05

what is this in aid of?

oliveoil - shuffles paperwork and makes tea

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 15:09

Snora no it is far more complex

I market arts events

I go round -town -with a -big -bag of flyers write and implement audience development strategies

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 15:09

hmm that didn't work too well

SNoraWotzThat · 05/08/2008 15:15

I was wondering if we might be setting up our own currency-free skills-exchange jobby. like wotserface on the Archers. Frannyandzooey and kormachameleon can organise our kids parties, zaphod can do the entertaining, all you artsy promoter types can tell all the journo-types about it and someone (can't remember her name and not sure she's on here but have seen her amazing pictures) can make the cakes. Flowerybeanbag can draw up all the contracts. I'll tell all the party-goers if they're allowed to say that they don't like ginger hair.

Oliveoil · 05/08/2008 15:18

if I was being a blunt northerner I would say that a lot of the jobs in the list look like a pile of wank and made up

but I am nice so won't

Cappuccino · 05/08/2008 15:19

lol at mime

I had a colleague who was convinced that 'art' meant 'mime'

and for the last time I own no Doc Martens

There are so few good web designers these days, they have other diversions it appears.

overthemill · 05/08/2008 19:51

"OK, so who has the time and the inclination to sort it in to cateogries with MNetters listed under each category???? I'd love to do it (I'm quite sad like that) but can't justify the time today. "

if someone could help with category deciding i would do the rest.

had a go and it's really hard!

agree with hatwoman, it'd be good if we could doa 'shareskills' type thing for free/low cost for each other
