how do I find an employment lawyer in Scotland

I need employment advice ASAP and can meet with a solicitor in Edinburgh or Glasgow or across central Scotland. How do I go about choosing a solicitor - went to Law Society website but lists 66 options - how do you choose. I found one - McGrade in Glasgow - that are specialist employment lawyers (only do this) - is this a way of prioritising a choice? Advice needed!

we used Mcvey & Murricane (think that's the right spelling!)when we sold our house in Scotland and I'm pretty sure they did more than just conveyancing. The are in Glasgow too
Dh couldn't remember any others I'm afraid

I used to work as a secretary for a firm called Thompsons in Glasgow City Centre....they have an employment law department and are pretty good.

Try McGrigors, in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. One of the largest employment law teams in the uk.
