Am applying for a job as School Receptionist, I am totally rubbish fillingin the blob as to why I am apply for the job. If anybody could help I would really appreciate it

you need to look at what they want - job spec/description

list your attributes acc to what they want and demonstrate that you have the skills they need

put some "hinterland" stuff as well as interest in school

and spell check it

I will have to have a brainstorming session, I help out once a well in Year 2. do you think I could ask the teacher for a reference?

yes i think you could ask the teacher for a ref. have you done admin before?

Sell yourself!! and don't be shy.

good advice from Bundle, would also add, that often it is very easy to assume that readers of app forms know what you mean or what your job entailed, but they don't. Be explicit, be project orientated, achievement and results based, as well as highlighting routines and stuff.
