CRB Checks for Nannies

How do I go about ensuring that an after school nanny has a CRB check if I'm employing directly rather than through an agency?

any advice at all on employing a nanny directly would be greatly appreciated.

no idea about employing a nanny, but I had to get a CRB check and I'm self employed. If you google disclosure scotland you can do it online.

I check Disclosure and it says that to request a CRB check on an individual that you have to be part of an organisation or agency. Is there a way that I can check the results of a CRB check independently from the person who has been checked?
