Stupid question about Levels for Teaching Assistants....

There are jobs in my local paper for Level 1 TA's and Level 2 TA's. Does the level refer to the NVQ level they would like you to have?
Also the job hours for one of them are 22 hrs per week (divided). What does divided mean?

TIA

Yes. NVQ or equiv.
No idea on divided, unless it means you do some mornings and some afternoons. I do 22hours - five am and 1 pm session.

The perfect job is in the paper for me this week. It is at my dd's school where I have been volunteering. The current TA told me about it. I wasn't even planning to go back to work as dd2 is only 3 but this is so so perfect it makes me feel excited and sick and nervous. In the long term I want to do my PGCE but not until both girls are at school full time as I am under no illusions as to what demands that will make of me.
I am going to apply but I am also pretty sure I won't get it. I have a degree but my only real experience with children is at toddler group and this one morning a week I have done at the school this year. .
I am on the board of trustees for the Pre-school too. Does that count?
I will get the application form, and then I can guarantee I will be back on here asking LOTS of questions. Aaarrghhh.
Any tips .
Thank you.
