Anyone here a senior support officer in adult social care?
I’m feeling a bit deflated. I’ve been doing the job for 6 years. Bringing people home from hospital then doing full care assessments, implementing care plans, supervising staff, first point of call…etc. My job description is vast and I’m quite experienced from this which is great. I’m qualified to level 4.
im trying to move up and I just can’t get a job it’s so hard I’ve interviewed numerous times now and not got it, it’s gone internal and I’m just so fed up.
what jobs should I be looking for? What does everyone else do? I want to do compliance or monitoring in care.
