If you have ADHD and love your job, what do you do?

I have recently discovered I have ADHD. After years of not understanding why I found it so hard to motivate myself in jobs, everything has fallen into place. Those of you who have or suspect you have ADHD, and love their jobs, what do you do?

Side note - I’ve noticed quite a bit of backlash against posters who mention neurodiversity lately. Please don’t bring it here.

Run a design agency, every single day is different, every project and client is different and I have no clue what’s going to happen from on day to the next. Love the fast pace, love the ability to flick around different designs so it’s been a perfect career for me.

Project manager - lots of deadlines, lots of challenges, great at seeing the bigger picture. I set up on my own eventually and loved winning new work. I have done dull jobs too, but always as a stop gap. The worst jobs for me were where I wasn’t busy enough, but I’ve always had a strong work ethic (job wise). My tax return is always done last minute. I struggle to work if my desk is too tidy, but it can’t be too chaotic either. At school, reward seemed disproportionate to effort - if I tried to revise over a longer time or take longer on an essay, I never did as well as last minute. I’m not sure I ever really learned how to study as when I was at school, if you were bright (academically), it was fine to spend most of the lesson daydreaming and not really get ‘pushed’.
