In your home town, that you live a long way from, and miss like crazy, just to give yourself 'an option' if you wanted it??

Sounds crazy I know but have a burning desire to apply for this job just to see if i get it

is it miles and miles or commutable?

mosschops30 · 03/06/2008 11:36

miles and miles

would mean a move, totally impossible really but I feel I want to, although dont know what im trying to prove to myself. I already have the same job here where i live

If you got it, then it would force the issue of whether or not you really want to move back.. is that what you would like to do? Have you discussed with DH?

mosschops30 · 03/06/2008 11:52

spot on mascara I think thats what Im trying to do. dh would never move back there though, and our marriage is rocky

realistically I couldnt go and live there now but its something i would consider in the future

If I were your dh and you applied for a job behind my back (or even not behind back) in a place I knew you wanted to live and I didn't.. I would think that was the beginning of the end..

Would you be prepared for that?

I think you need to talk to your dh about why the job is so appealing and have a serious talk as it just sounds like there's a massive underlying issue...

mosschops30 · 03/06/2008 12:04

no i would not be prepared for that right now.
However similarly when I applied to do my degree, I applied here, and there, got accepted at both and chose to stay here. Maybe Im just wanting to do that again, as odd as it is I know
