Flex work request appeal hearing - anyone got experience of this?

Hopefully there will be somebody on here with some experience of this. I put in a flex work request, work declined it and I have appealed there decision saying that I disagreed with how they had used statistical information to support their case.

I have the appeal hearing in mid June. Has anyone been through a similar thing? What was the outcome? Thanks very much. Noodle

Depends what your request is and what you did before. They dont actual need statistical information to decline a request, just business reasons why they would be affected.

Its all to easy with these application to only see it from your point of view and what you want, most people forget to see the other side.

Presumably they were using statistical information to support their decision, but the actual reason for refusal was a business reason of some kind.

Whether or not you agree with their use of statistics to make their point, the point they are making remains, and you need to address it at the appeal.

Whatever business reason/s they have given/problems they have identified, you need to come up with a positive solution for. Address any concerns they have raised or any others you think they could raise. Explain how your request benefits the business (not how it benefits you) and what a positive impact it will make.
