Going back to work has caused sleeping chaos - any ideas??

I have been back at work 3 months and still having major issues with DD's (15 months) sleeping patterns. She has always had trouble napping in the day, but was sleeping through the night when she first started going to CM. I therefore expected her to struggle in the beginning, but the trouble is, she seems to be getting worse not better: she never sleeps more than 30 mins in the day (normally naps for 2 hrs at home), and for the last three weeks she has been impossible at bedtime and, once finally asleep, waking up every 1-2 hours in the night !! By 4.30am-5am we normally let her come into our bed, where she fidgets and squirms for an hour before starting the day around 6am. At this rate, I feel like I can't hold down my job, I'm exhausted to the point of hallucination! Has anyone else experienced this, did it get better eventually and do you think it's just overstimulation, or separation anxiety?? Any thoughts gratefully received!!

Hello,

not able to help am afraid but think its probably not uncommon as have read about it before.
I've heard it called reverse cycling if its to do with BF, although that sort of implies she would be sleeping in the day. Hope it fixes soon.

Just another idea but you could ask CM about whether Dd is getting given "sugar", consumption of sugar in all its glorious forms and lack of sleep has been an issue for Ds in the past!!!

I guess I mean lots of sugar/chocolate, small amounts should be OK.
