Have worked in tech a long time, pretty senior but I really really need to get out. Don't want to get into details of why but I just can't keep doing this and the corporate world is killing me.
The job market is insane - there's far too much competition in my field for not enough jobs.
I'd love to do something completely different but don't think I really have any other skills. What other side hustle or fresh start jobs do people have if they start again in mid life with no specific skill set except maybe being super organised, quite good with words and experience leading teams? Transferable skills don't count for anything in recruitment these days.
