How I get my motivation to find a new job?

I am 52 and was hoping to stay in current job until retirement, another 5 years at least; but It looks like I may have to find another job. I have normally changed jobs every 3 to 5 years; but at my current age I am dreading it having to start a new job, meeting new systems, people, processes, adapting to new company culture, interviewing, proving myself again.

I wish I have enough money to quit current job and consider my options and what I want to do next. I wish I have started saving pension earlier.

How do I get my motivation ? Is it the menopause? I exercise, eat well, take vitamins, meditate, etc.

I just started a new job at 53 and I'm loving it - given me a new lease of (professional ) life. It is scary but think of the end goal. Still got a few more years left right ! Good luck - I know job hunting can be stressful.

Thank you and Congratulations on your new job. Early 50s is still early to retire. I still have more to give career wise.

Job hunting is hard but it needs to be done; just need to motivate myself; update my cv and start the process.
