OK I need to think about getting back to work after 4 years out. Am going to do some voluntary work but also need to think about getting some sort of career back on track. In this gloomy downturn in the housing market I feel sure there is a need for estate agencies to employ people freelance to do their viewings. I would then do viewings for them (after thoroughly researching the properties and local areas) and charge a standard fee. If a sale came out of the viewing I would then charge a percentage of their commission. The benefit to the estate agents would be that they would not have the fixed salary overhead of an agent and would only be paying someone on a 'viewing' plus commission on a guarenteed sale. What are your thoughts please and tips for how I can get started. I know I have no experience of this but feel sure that this can be gained along the way.
