Ah well, after nearly 5 years being a SAHM I'm getting off my fat a**se and going to work tomorrow!

Looking forward to it but nervous. But it's the right time now. DS will be 5 this year and starting school - we need the money, and TBH I need some adult company that isn't solely about children all the time.

Thanks! Working for an organisation that encourages people with extra support needs into the workplace. Part time 20 hours a week.

You'll love it, I've been back at work for 2 weeks after taking 5 years off to be a SAHM. It took me exactly one day to realise that I was ready to be back in the workplace.
It is nerve racking but you'll be back in the swing in no time.

Well, had a great day on a course at work. So much to take in. I'm exhausted. Was able to do some networking for my job. It was nice when DH and DS picked me up - I started to miss them in the afternoon. But I'm really happy to have some adult things to do now.
