I work in HR in a corporate job and earn a decent salary of £75K (London). Took me a decade to build experience and have always been invested in this. Lately though I have started to feel unfulfilled by this and the thought of having another 30 odd years ahead doing this same thing is frankly quite daunting. I want a change but don’t know what to do.
I have a masters degree and the experience mentioned above but other than that, nothing else I could use to build a new career.
I would love to do something visually creative (like interior designer) or something socially helpful (although I don’t think I would be good at social services type of work if I am honest). Salary is also another issue as I earn more than DH and we have a pricey mortgage and a 5 year old son to support.
What are my options?
