..and I need some suggestions of what to ask at the end, when they ask if I have any questions. My mind usually goes blank, so give me a good suggestion in advance please.

TIA

I really want to know about pay, flexitime, unpaid leave etc, but I think I should ask a more intelligent question, and not discuss the important things unless I get offered it!

Good luck- why not try to find out a little about the culture of working life there-
such as is overtime the norm or exceptional?
is there a canteen/ or are you lucky to grab a sandwich at your desk?
is there employee car parking/ healthcare /pension schemes?
Is there a formal dress code policy in place?

see if you can pick up any cues from the interviewer about the team, or about previous people who were in the role- if they won't talk about how the role came about it might mean that they sacked the previous person for example.
take the time to make sure you know what they would be like to work for- I often ask about the company ethics such as are there companies that you won't do business with?
Or how would you advise giving bad news to clients?
hope this helps. fingers crossed for you.
