Does anyone actually make money off the Instagram work for yourself schemes everyone seems to be promoting

Hello,

I am getting a lot of Instagram ads “Stay home after Mat leave, I make more money now etc”

It all looks so tempting and I’m missing my baby back at work full time. I’m concerned that no one actually makes any real money - e.g. enough for share of bills and mortgage. Or that they are a scam. Does anyone know anyone making money or not making. Keen to hear everyone’s opinion!

These feel like the new MLMs to me alongside coaching. If it feels too good to be true then sadly it probably is - one or two people might but these ads - and I wish it were true! - will almost certainly sell you a book and course. Probably and ‘opportunity to invest in yourself’ maybe with a coaching session alongside. They’ll be encouraging but clear it’s your fault if it doesn’t work

I think your spot on, it made me think of the Arbonne bandwagon everyone jumped on a few years ago!

It is all total bollocks. If you found an easy way of making loads of money would you go and tell everyone so they could muscle their way in and pinch your customers? Of course not!

They only way they make any money is by getting other people to sign up and pay to do the same as they are doing, which is signing other people up... ad infinitum. Apart from a small handful at the top of the food chain, hardly anyone makes any money at all.

They'll then coach encourage you into selling the book and course to other people.

I think they are just new MLM.

you basically are supposed to be selling a course that teaches people how to sell courses or something ridiculous like that .

I actually am a marketer by profession, and I find it really irritating that all of these people are selling things that they say are so simple when marketing as a discipline has taken me over a decade to learn.
