Change of career in wellness industry, help me choose!

I am middle aged and I want to leave my current industry (marketing/comms) for something more suited to my personality and interests in the wellness industry and have shortlisted some options to create a part-time income.

Anyone has done something similar or could advise what the best option to go for would be?

I am hesitating between retraining as:

  • pilates teacher (I am at an advanced level now in term of taking classes and really love it) specialising on working with older people/people with health issues
  • massage therapist
  • NHS social prescriber (I have experience of working with vulnerable people in the charity sector and of running community projects)
  • Nutrition and NLP coach
  • Mindfulness/meditation teacher.

Or I could combine some of these disciplines such as pilates and meditation.

Any advice or experience most welcome!

First thing to ask yourself is do you want to be self employed or not? This may sway / narrow your decision making.

Thank you @eish

I should have added I am already registered self-employed because I do some freelancing alongside my main permanent job and have done that for about 10 years now.
