Hi, I am interested in applying for a job as an NVQ assessor at a college but I would not like to start until sept, as I have two hols booked
over the summer and need to be off when parents are away for a few weeks. Is it too early to apply bearing in mind I would need to wait for an interview, have enhanced crb check and hand in 4 wks notice.

Is it a post that you've seen advertised or are you just applying on spec? If it's something that you've seen advertised I'd contact them to find out when they are hoping someone might be available to start.

whats the closing date on advert?

we've got a mid may closing date at the moment for a post. will interview end of may. we recommend that successful applicants don't hand notice in until all crbs etc are back so we can probably look at a 3mth period before can start anybody anyway. plus we'd have to consider and honour any holidays already booked, so could be september anyway.
