URGENT HELP: Need to submit a jobapplication in half an hour and I have a stupid question...

MeMySonAndI · 20/03/2008 11:33

I have not done my homework properly and... I don't know the name of the person I should address it to. The application is to be submitted to the HR department rather than directly to the area.

So how do I start the letter?:

a) Dear all
b) To whomever it may concern,
c) To the interviewing panel,

d) any suggestion other than those above?

Thanks in advance (letter is already written BTW, just missing this detail)

"Dear Sir or Madam" and sign "yours faithfully".

Thabk you all... BTW I did project work for them 2 years ago... so I feel a bit bad about not knowing who to send it to, but embarrased to ring 20 minutes before the deadline

Thank you for that

Application has been sent and... just realised I put "dear sir, madam, " ARGHHHHHH hope they will forgive this little mistake considering I almost told them I would go on my knees to get a job in their office
