how much will be deducted?

I've just been offered a part time job earning £5.90 per hour (crap i know but the hours fit in) working 20 hours per week. I was just wondering what i'd be likely to take home as it's quite bad before any deductions. Would i pay tax and ni on that? thanks!

this should help you. I got a take home figure of £114.27 nased on £118 gross.

you should be able to get tax credits too

Less after 5 April because of the 10% rate going

ah yes i was using the wrong year . I get £113.87 now
