Headhunters/recruiters - why is my Linkedin profile not generating interest?

So, I'm a contract/freelance worker. First time in years I've hit a dry spot. I've never really had to use Linkedin before. But I rehauled both CV and my Linkedin profile, optimising it with keywords, skills, experience etc in order to maximise my LInkedin for others to see.

But not a sniff! I can't understand why no one has even looked at my profile.

If you are a recruiter/headhunter, please can you advise if there is anything I should be doing but am not doing?! Thanks

Current bugbear is firms advertising hybrid remote but with no indication of what that actually means.

Could be two or three days in the office.

It sounds like your profile is up to date, but are you actively engaging on the site? Profile views come from activity as well as specific searches - comment on other people's posts and write your own to raise your profile.

If you can slip a reminder of what you do and why you're great at it at the end of your post, even better, e.g. you write about problems manufacturing widgets and end with - 'widget discrepancies are a real headache for the industry, if my widget assessment training could help your team, get in touch'.

Hybrid is 2/3 days in office, in my experience.

Make sure you're only dropping reminders of what you do on your own posts; unless the post is asking for recommendations/contractors. It'd be poor form to do it on other people's.

Have you got a network of people you can email or reconnect with?

Applications are crazy right now. LinkedIn seems to be rammed with jobseekers, too. I think I'd want to optimise and then find a way to be proactive alongside LinkedIn.

Yes, I suspect this is the case. I don't engage at all. I hate it! But I realise that will increase my visibility
