What's the strangest job you've ever had?

This morning went to see a local lady who advertised for help cleaning brass and copper.
Went to the interview and she was very nice and basically she needs someone twice a week for 3hrs at a time.
But it is only for every 6 weeks. So really just pin money.
Lots of brass ornaments all over the place and you have to find them, clean them and put them back and move through the rooms.
Should be interesting, may even had to make tea for the builders.
Just hope my hands are up to it!

That could bore you to tears but at least its only every three weeks and the builders could be hunky, well maybe honky.

I had a mothers help job for about 3 weeks, couple of afternoons, but baby just cried for mum and she hovered about so I cleaned the silver while she played with baby, I did get to take baby a walk in the pram but only for 15mins, she should have hired a polisher.

I temped for a company distributing XXXX-rated films once. I was a very innocent 19 or 20yo, and it was at least a week before I realised what their product was!

I did merchandising work for a while and I had to do stock takes in service stations, counting the CD.s and xxx DVD's. I also had to decide which covers were to XXX and put the plain cardboard sleeves on them, but wasn't allowed to cover them all.

Illegally fed-exing porn to South America in a basement. The porn being 'specialist' fat and old.

It wasn't quite the job as advertised.

Working for a company who wrote the questions for pub quizes.

Except the boss didn't like hiring women of child-bearing age (I was taken on in his absence) and I was sacked after one day. But thats another story....
