Had big dreams but fed up of office politics

From very young age I looked up to some great female CEOs and dreamt of becoming one of them and leading a big company/organisation. Worked hard, continuously and relentlessly to get to the head of department role to work step by step towards my goal. I am early thirties and a woman of colour and now I am seeing the office politics, discrimination and some bias sort of things towards me. I am still motivated and would carry on working towards my goal but bit fed up now if this is what it's going to be like. I had some hard time at work due to people constantly pushing back in a new role I am in and have been stressed a little bit.
Now, I am questioning if it would be worth it to get stress and keep jumping the career ladder to reach my childhood dream or just coast and work for money just 9-5.
Looking to get some perspective from people who had similar experiences and how they dealt with it.

Where there are humans interacting, there will be "politics". Navigating that is part of leading a big organisation of people.

You say being a CEO was a childhood dream, but you're an adult now with a more advanced level of knowledge and understanding about the world.

So what are your goals and aspirations for life now you're in your thirties?
