Don't want to do office jobs anymore - alternative career?

I had a big health scare recently and this has made me reassess different aspects of my life.

I came to the realisation that I have not been happy in the jobs I have had for the past 15 years and that I hate working in office-type roles, have no interest whatsoever in what I do anymore (usually marketing and comms at senior manager level or general project and staff management).

I sort of fell into this type of roles and then plodded along, but it is not something I am suited to.

If you have an interesting job that is not the type of bog standard office role where you are stuck in front of a computer all day or have endless meetings, what do you do?

Any suggestions as to what I could look at with my transferrable skills that would actually take me out of the routine of desk-based, office roles?

@Lovetotravel123

Thank you for your comment.

I don't have any teaching experience or qualification though.

Project management skills can be very transferable to non desk based roles or at least those that have a mix of desk and practical hands on requirements. I don't have expertise in any of the below but think you could research:
Construction project management
General manger / operations manager in a services industry
Facilities manager
Events management

I feel the same. I’d like to be a TA but can’t afford it.

@MavisTheMonkey

That's interesting because you just listed some of the industries/type of jobs that I have been thinking about!

I've done the opposite. Went from a TA to an office job in Education. Much prefer it, but I'd been working with children - directly for over 10 years and had, had enough.
