Enhanced CRB - Arrested but no conviction

Could anyone help who may have been through this nightmare as well?
I am a teacher and have to renew my enhanced CRB.
I was arrested a year ago(it was malicious!), but after an interview released on bail and then not required to go back as the case was dropped ( not charged or convicted or warned etc). The person who made the allegations is now facing criminal prosecution for a variety of charges and I have been asked by the police to be a witness for his prosecution.

Will this arrest be on my enhanced CRB and could I be sacked from my job????

Everyone who receives CRB info is supposed to sign a code of practice which pledges that they will interpret the information fairly.

My guess is that the arrest will appear on the renewed enhanced CRB, but once you supplied evidence of what actually happened they would have no grounds to sack you (and you would have grounds to claim unfair dismissal if they tried). hth.

Just to let you know that I got an enhanced CRB . I had mental health problems following the birth of my 3rd DC. I wanted them all dead, didn't care who knew, thought that if they were dead then I would get back to normal! this lasted for a good couple of years we me going in and out of hospital (pyschiatric ward) DC were on the at risks register.

I used to work in a school before the birth of my DC 3. Wanted to get back into the same line of work before DC3. School were very kind and said if I got a enhanced check then there would a job.

To cut a long story short, the enhanced team wrote tome telling me exactly what they had on record about me - I was mortified! I wrote back to them, telling them the truth, especially that DC were now not on the at risks register, DH often goes out of the country and leaves me in sole charge.

They wrote back several weeks later offering a full enhanced check. A couple of mths ago I wanted to do some vol work and needed another CRB, it came through in record time without any mither!

Please do not worry, they will write to you first if they are concerned and give you the chance to fight your corner.
