Think I've made a bit fat mistake

I left my fantastic part-time job about 4 weeks ago for another, slightly different role. I have previously worked for the chap who offered me the job, so I was quite happy - although very sad to leave my old job (the new one is LOADS nearer to home) and slightly more challenging.

But man did I f8ck up. My main client is a nightmare, was outrageously rude to me via email, the bloke looking after the account (who works for the same agency as me but is more senior) is a total lap dog and just takes all the abuse from this client - and then talks to me like I'm some child. I practically got a verbal warning from him today because I'd cc-ed someone in that I shouldnt have done (nothing conteneous, just some information)

It's not worth it. I'm a good person and even though it's my third monday coming up, I'm f8cking dreading it.

Anyone any wise words?

Can you go back to your old job? 4 weeks isn't very long at all, certainly short enough to get out if you know it's a mistake.

Is your old job still available? Go back to it. Nothing is worth that sort of treatment. You'll end up making yourself ill with stress.

weel my bosses parting words were, "there's always a job back here..."

but my pride won't let me see that as a viable option

Sod your pride! It shows tremendous maturity and self-awareness to recognise this early that you have made a mistake and do something about it. We all make mistakes, don't put yourself through months of this just because of your pride.

If your boss said that then clearly he/she would not judge you at all.

Swallow your pride. Life is far too short for that sort of pride. Nothing will be better for your confidence than your old job welcoming you back with open arms.
