Not going back after mat leave

Hi
Could anyone help with a couple of issues

My mat leave ends this week but I'm not going back to work. Will I be entitled to pay for the holidays I've accrued this year? I took all 2007s before starting my mat leave but I'll have gained just short of a week in Jan and Feb. I assumed I won't get anything but dh seems to think I will.

Also a friend of mine isn't going back this month but her company are being awkward about her commission. When she left in June they kept back May's commission until she started back. She also should get a percentage of her usual percentage for projects started whilst she was at work but finished by someone else. They've said she's not getting anything, can this be right? Surely she's already earned the money.

Thanks

willdaisy you would be entitled to holiday pay accrued this year. If you normally get more than the statutory basic, you will only get the extra if you are still on ordinary maternity leave. If you are on additional maternity leave you would only get it at the statutory basic rate.

Your friend's problem is a bit more complicated and I would need to know more but show her this page which has all about bonuses and commission during maternity leave, should help her I think.
