i am terrified but so so excited. i think my main nervous thing is that i don't know what the training scheme's like and i'm a bit worried about being thrown in the deep end (but that's just nerves, i'm sure, as it is a highly respected public sector organisation).

All the people I have met so far seem very friendly and there's a lot of different types which is good. the nursery looks fantastic and when i took dd for a taster yesterday she throughly enjoyed herself whilst i sorted the boring admin bits.

am also quite nervous because i've never worked for such a large organisation before, am used to working with maybe 50 people.

overall, am just so so happy to be back in work, and happy that i get to see dd every lunchtime, which will just make it so much easier on me (she probably won't care a jot)

yay

Sounds like a really good job! Lovely that you will be able to see dd every day.

I start my new job a week on Monday and am feeling the same way!!

Good Luck. I am sure you will love it!

ah congratulations to you as well!

to be honest, it all feels a bit too perfect, what with it being exactly the sort of job i wanted, and the unbelievably perfect childcare situation! maybe they will require blood sacrifices as penance or summat
