Applying for an inspector of childcare role with a recruitment and retention payment

I’m currently a teacher and looking to apply for a role that is being advertised specifically to teachers looking to career change.

It would be working for a private company that inspects childcare settings (not in England)

recruitment and retainment is a massive issue in teaching for good reason - so I’m wary of jumping out of frying pan and into the fire!

would this put you off the role?

anyone do something similar and can outline the pitfalls?

thanks
