catholic teachers-Prob with standard app

This is a real shot in the dark, but I am completing an application for a catholic school and I am having a real prob changing fonts, position of text and deleting grey boxes on the standard catholic teachers application form. Anyone encountered this and managed to get round it.

Have you downloaded the form and saved it in Word at all?

i think so but seems to be copyright protected and none of toolbars seem to work. getting very frustrated.

Could you save it as a PDF and create a form...do you have Adobe Acrobat at all?

I do but just getting nowhere and feel embarrased to phone school and say cant do the application form.

Just call them and say that your PC is broken or whatever and could they possibly send you one in the post. Its no big deal....they wont mind I am sure!!

Ha ha and no.
I printed one off and scanned it (see not totally IT illiterate), but still could not change anything .

Could do it by hand but just feel that would be shoddy.
