Please help me try and stay calm.
I have been unemployed since october 07, and we really need me to get this job! So as you can imagine i am starting to get very worried that i may not get the job, even been in tears with the thought of not getting the job.

Can anyone advice me anything, (interview tips?)i just need positive things to think so i aint a mess in the morning!

My interview is at 2:20pm tomorrow

oh you poor thing..i bet your stomach is churning away, eh?

know it's hard when you really want the job, but try not to come across as desperate or 'needy." just "act" confident, even if you don't feel it.

  • enthusiasm goes a long way in interviews, so be enthusiastic and positive

  • drop in a few things you know about the company and your (prospective) job. that shows you care enough to have done a bit of research and that you're keen.

  • have examples for qualities and achievements. don't just say, for example, i've got a lot of initiative, say:'i've got a lot of initiative, shown by XXXX - example of something that was your idea in your last job..

hope that helps..and
good luck!
let us know how you get on.

good luck Prepare. Read the Job specification and JD, and competencies/expectations of post.
the questions asked will be based on this. if you don't get the jist of a question ask them to repeat. ask questions at end eg "what training is available"

Not to sure, they seemed happy with me but said that they have other interviews still to do and they will be contacting people by friday to let them know if they had been successful! So it is just a waiting game now
