Which Part Time Option would you choose?

I'm going for a new position and have been given the choice of:

Working 4 days a week with 6 weeks annual leave (I believe 1 of these have to be taken at Christmas)

OR
5 days a week, term time only - I would assume some of the holiday entitlement would be paid (6 weeks out of the 12 weeks)?

If it was a job close to home, I would definately go with term time only hands down, but, I think it will be in the office which is a 1 1/4 hr commute - so having a day off Wednesdays would really lighten the week.

Which would you choose? Can you see any benefits or drawbacks I'm missing?

Are you trying to fit this around childcare, and if so what are your current/preferred childcare arrangments?

No right now I don't have to fit around childcare issues, but will in the future. The thing is, my impression is that you are "locked" in to which ever choice you make.
