Working days: X3 long days (part time) or x4 days wfh x1 in office full time

I am currently working part time x3 long days with the commute I am gone 7.30am to 7pm. I have x2 kids in secondary and one reception age child. Those x3 days are stressful with the juggle.

I have just been offered a full time role x4 days from home and a Friday in the office.

this means I can always take my child to school / after school swimming and collect etc

my husband has a demanding job and he has been doing lots of the running around irs become stressful

I don't want to make a mistake - has anyone done both? I'm not fussed about human interaction I like working alone plus my household is busy.

any input welcome! Thanks

I’ve nor got direct experience but it sounds like it
would suit your lifestyle better?

I started wfh in Oct. 4 days with the odd commute to the office (mostly once a week or every two weeks). I have a dd in yr 5 and one in yr 8. I was working 2 in retail before this in order to be able to juggle my time better but I have actually found 4 days wfh so much easier as I am at home rather than out all day. Dd2 goes to after school club 4 days, I can bung laundry in the drier/chop food ready for tea etc during my break. I love it. I’d recommend a productivity app like Organised (I use it all the time and do 1 hour of cleaning every morning at 7am which is the only shit part). I follow the Organised Mum method or else all hell breaks loose. 😁 I would go for the wfh option but either way go for whichever option you feel happier about or whichever has more pay? I think it is having the discipline to get up early and do the housework before the day starts which makes all the difference. And if you work out of the house you simply can’t fit it in in the morning.
